SkyShield Antivirus

SkyShield Antivirus, as the name points out, is an antivirus product. The application’s PC Shield keeps your PC safe and protected against all types of viruses. The nice thing is that SkyShield Antivirus has several shields to offer. Besides the aforementioned PC Shield there’s a Download, USB, Toolbar, and an Email Shield. Together, all these shields ensure you stay safe and protected.

SkyShield Antivirus plays nice with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. The installation process is detailed in the Quick Look video that is attached to this review. All the shields this antivirus application has to offer are clearly presented on the interface:
PC Shield – protects against all types of viruses.
Download Shield – protects against malicious downloads; ensures you don’t download something dangerous.
USB Shield – protects against threats that spread via USB portable devices.
Toolbar Shield – ensures your browser’s settings are not changed by malware.
Email Shield – protects against spam, unwanted email messages, and malicious attachments.

Next to each shield there’s an On/Off slider. Use these sliders to enable/disable the shields you want. To the right there’s a Full Shield slider that allows you to disable/enable all the shields at once.

There’s a blue orb right in the middle on the application’s interface. Said orb is divided into two sections; the one to the left allows you to scan your entire PC while the one to the right allows you to scan chosen files.
